SUPPLIES
BEADS
Many types of plastic beads can be used, the most common are the multicolored pony beads. They come in many shapes, colors, and sizes. I recommend starting with a large variety kit so you can choose from multiple color combos!
Letter beads are also commonly used to spell fun words and phrases.
Unique shaped beads come in many different forms, most commonly animals, hearts, stars, and flowers. While these beads are optional, they may add a personal and creative touch to your design.
ELASTIC STRING
Elastic string is needed to string the beads. You can use plastic or thread, as long as it's stretchy. 1 mm in diameter.
SCISSORS
A basic pair of scissors will be needed to cut the string after measuring.
TAPE
Scotch tape is optional. I recommend using it while stringing your bead design for increased security of the beads on the string. You can make the bracelet without tape by carefully holding both ends.
SUPER GLUE
Super glue is optional but highly recommended. One drop on the finished knot will strengthen it for prolonged use.
